Babalwa Ngonyama

Babalwa Ngonyama is the Global CEO and major shareholder of Sinayo, deeply committed to fostering future-ready leaders and promoting education and development. With a diverse background in leadership roles across various South African entities, she is also the founding chairperson of the African Women Chartered Accountants (AWCA), aiming to advance black female Chartered Accountants. Ngonyama’s extensive board experience includes positions at Vukile Properties, Hollard Life, Hollard Insurance, Kagiso Tiso Holdings, Aspen, and Implats Ltd., among others. Previously, she held senior roles at Deloitte’s, Safika Holdings, and Nedbank Ltd., and chaired the University of Cape Town Council, showcasing her dedication to driving sustainable and equitable progress in society.
